What is the fine for not having car insurance in Georgia?

Driving without insurance is a misdemeanor in GA. If you are convicted of driving without insurance, you will be subject to a fine between $200.00 and $1,000.00, up to 12 months in jail, or both. In addition, you can lose your license for at least 60 days up to 90 days.
